Local gunstore owner, not altogether what I'd call a "reliable source of info", said that Colt already has a fixed magazine AR ready to go for when they ban clips.

Finally got a call back they put the 10 rounders right out priority mail with a return shipping label for the 30's

Thats good enough to solve the problem asap IMHO.

I"d imagine right now... they are stuffing boxes with what the numbers say... and someone then stood there and looked..WTF? A 10 rounder. Right now you want 10 rounders? Grins.
