Just put a magpul CTR 6 position stock on my bushmaster predator. Looking for advise on mounting a sling. There is a slot for the sling but also a hole that I'm assuming there is some type of stud I could mount in the hole to make the sling detachable. Any thoughts on what I need. Thanks

I have the flush button model and it seems secure on a Noveske QD end plate, but I haven't used it much yet.

It'll adjust quickly so if you want to suck it up tight against you to keep it out of the way, it'll also let out quickly so you can shoot. Kinda handy.

I've found that I like the padded version, because I'm a sissy. And it seems to stay in place better, especially on a stiff surface like body armor.

ASAP sling plate. The closer to the receiver ends, the better.

I can't recommend you follow this advice any louder. It is that good. Sissy or not the padded sling is awesome. I've used it on the range for tactical training with the Army and in the field for coyote calling and in the mountains looking for Mulies. That sling is worth it's weight in gold to me.

that sling looks great! I have to replace my plastic forearm on the new 308 to use it I think.
