have a Springfield Armory M1A, and need trigger upgrade. S A no longer shows them in store online. Who makes a replacement match grade?

Those triggers are pretty easy to stone and get under four pounds without a problem. In fact the problem is keeping them crisp and over the required 4.5# for service rifle competition. Just ask around for Camp Perry types. Rost should know, or call Champion's Choice.

You can order the Whitefeather match grade adjustable trigger from Springfield You will pay around $350 and it drops right in.

I have not had much experience with competition regs. and I have not pulled on any gunsmith ed triggers but it is the best trigger I have pulled. Its like two pieces of wet glass sliding together.

Shooting Sight makes a great adjustable M14 trigger. You never have to re-stone it.

Never done an adjustable one. Just always stoned the trigger as needed to keep it in compliance.

As long as its crisp with no creep, thats what I was after, but had to be 4.5 pounds or more due to regs...

You have a couple of suggestions here I"d follow up on.

I don't know why they don't show the whole trigger assembly on one page, but here's the hammer. http://www.shootingsight.com/m14.html

Adding the hammer to it reduces locktime as well.

The whole shebang is $280.
