Has anyone out there shot this AR? If so what is your thought on it. A local gun shop has one in 30-06 and one in 270. http://www.onlylongrange.com/bn36.asp

An excellent solution to a non-existent problem.
Lots of things out there like that. But damn glad there are. Makes life more fun.
Ooooohh, .25-06...let's reach out there and touch someone. Shoots flatter than most rounds in existence, hits hard enough to put something down, cheap to reload because components are extremely common, and recoil is as light as anyone could expect. Daddy likey!!
I've fired lots of long range rounds. I just find the .25-06 to be the most "balanced" that I've fired. Light recoiling, common components, cheap to load, and very good BC's; it's my all around long range favorite. I wasn't implying it was "the best", just my personal favorite for those reasons.
Wonder why 25-06 never really caught on all the well but there is a 257 wtby following it seems. Thats what I have, the wtby, but think the 25-06 would be a similar round.
I was not trying to be serious just poking fun. But the 264 is my favorite but I also like the 25-06 just never owned one. The 264 shoots everything from 85gr to 160gr bullets. My next round at the range I will be testing 85gr HP, 95gr Vmax, 100gr HP, 100gr ballistic tip, 130gr VLD and 160gPPSN. The 85gr and 95gr will be 3900fps +.
25-06 vs 257 wby the wby steps out a couple hundred fps faster using a lot more powder. both wonderful rounds. had a mauser in the 25-06 that was awesome. I'd like to see one of these puppies chambered in 284 Winchester with 30-06 length mag. 160g 7mm would be the shiitz!
