Is anyone using this powder ? What are your pros vs. cons ?
I'm going to be loading for a 20"-1:7.7 - .223 Wylde . Haven't shot this rifle yet , and I'm guessing it will like the longer heavier bullets , but I'd like to be able to shoot from 50/55 to 70 grain pills. I tried to buy a can of Varget none -so it was 8 lb of the CFE 223 or nothing & 1000 Remington 7 1/2 primers .
I hope I'm not going to have to put this stuff on the tomatoes this spring !

Thank you all in advance for your time and help.
Merry Christmas to all

It works very well with 175gr match kings in my DPMS LR308!

I've loaded some 55gr Hornady soft points for my M-4 and it works great for me. I haven't shot very many cartridges with is so far. It's very fine and meters great. It's so fine I get some on my bench but not much.

I have a 20" heavy 1/8 Wilde chambered barrel on my AR. I use CFE 223 with the Nosler 50 gr. ballistic tip at 3300 and its a .5 MOA gun and load from the bench. Leaves much less residue than H335 and benchmark, with less copper fouling. Can't say enough good about it.

I have used CFE223 with 50 and 55 grain bullets. It meters very nicely and has been accurate in my M&P15. I have some 65s loaded but haven't shot them yet.

Hodgdon's numbers on it look really good.

I'd try in on that basis alone.
I run it in .223 and 6.5Grendel it works well in both.
