I finally got the $30 trigger installed on my Colt HBAR and shot forty rounds. There is much less creep and what there is is quite smooth. The trigger broke at 4 1/2#. I had one failure to fire. I just swapped out the hammer spring back to the original and pull went up to 6# which I am sure will solve the firing issue. Still much improved over the OEM trigger. The parts are nicely finished, critical areas finely polished and all coated with some slick application. All in all, I am pleased given the price and my desire to maintain the single stage OEM design.

Hmmmm.......the hammer spring that came with that kit was a reduced power version?

You might want to try a reduced power trigger spring instead.

Or try the JP reduced power spring kit. Use the reduced trigger and disconnector spring with a full power hammer spring. Better trigger pull and still works on the harder primers.
