I have a buddy that is trying to raise some cash. He has offered me gently used DPMS 5.56, case, 650 rounds of ammo, some accessories and some kind of low end red dot scope for $600.

He thinks the scope is worth 125.00.

How much is the rifle alone worth?

A local pawn shop has almost the identical package for sale (without the ammo and accessories, of course ) and they are asking $575.00.

low end red dot scope equals maybe 25 bucks in my mind for used... accy don't net much...

But 600 to help a buddy out, isn't a bad deal.

Forget the red dot, but if it's decent ammo, $600 seems very reasonable.

Bought two of them couple months ago here in FLA, $585 + tax.

Right now same shop has them for $625.
