With a new round of panic buying started, it's time to move forward with my next project, an AR in 9mm. With cast bullets I can reload 9mm cheaper then I can buy .22LR.
I already have the lower, one that accepts Glock magazines. (I guess that means I will need the ugly Glock to match?)
Does anyone have experience with or a recommendation on a 9mm Carbine upper?
Thanks.
I bought a PSA upper. Works fine. Only a few hundred thru it, it shot very well in a steel challenge match.
Which brand of lower?
Lone Wolf distributing has an upper for their 9mm lower that seems to get good reviews.

It's a New Frontier Billet C-9 Lower.
Supercrewd,
I saw the PSA uppers, but PSA says they only work with their lowers, so I was a little leary of trying one.
I suppose I could mail my upper over and you can try it.

Or next time my wife and I are in Palisades we could stop by for coffee and a few mag dumps?
What is the thinking about shooting cast bullets in an AR? Would the gas tube need to be replaced every ????# of rounds fired.... Would powder coated cast work better?
A link to the AR that accepts Glock magazines would be much appreciated.
There's a thread on this at the site named for the gun. I think people have done some mix and matches with good results.
Is everyone in CO getting a Glock mag lower?
Mag law 15 round restriction so use what you have.
