Any feedback on CMC after market single stage triggers.

A buddy sells them in his gun shop and have pulled them but don't own any of them they fell pretty good.

I have 3.5# in my Bushmaster. It takes some getting used to, but I do like it. If I was to do it again, I'd go with the 4.5#.

not single stage, but for the money the RRA varmint 2 stage is about the best bang for the buck I've tried. 62 each on sale last year black friday.

Anyone that says they can't get used to a 2 stage, doesn't want to try to hard... they are much safer RE doubling, in an AR than a single stage...

I second the RRA 2 stage. Great triggers for the money.

I have a CMC single stage and like it. I run both single and two stage triggers. On precision rifles, I still like the single stage. On rifles designed for combat and tactical applications, the two stage triggers are the way to go.

I don't know about precision like benchrest, but most highpower/long range/service rifle precision shooters use 2 stage. FWIW. YMMV

Different strokes. That is exactly opposite of my preference.

Unfortunately the election crap just dawned on me... it may not happen...IE a great sale.

I think I got a heads up while in the deer stand and ordered from the stand actually.

I just bought a couple a few months ago for $68. Don't recall from who. That makes 4 now, including one tuned by WOA. Can't tell much difference. They're all good. A couple more Jards and Giselle's and a couple stock triggers that break nice. A good trigger makes a world of difference to me.

I ordered a CMC single stage, 3.5 pound trigger. After putting it in, it seemed heavy. My trigger scale said four pounds plus.
I called CMC, they apologized and asked for my mailing address and sent a replacement trigger priority mail that day and they sent a prepaid postage sticker to return the original.
The second one was just fine, a tad over 3.5 put close enough.

Imlike the rock riv two stage varmint at 3.5 lbs. it seems much lighter then 3.5 lbs. this webiste is good to go, as i ordered three of them. They are $86 shipped.

They are lighter in a way.... two stage you pull first stage weight to a stopping point. Say 2.5 pounds... then you start the final pull from there, its safer, very crisp if tuned correctly and light, like 1 pound...

You can not get a single stage to 1 pound or 1.5 or so safely in an AR type firearm.

and ordered a Rise Armament Super Sporting trigger over the CMC, mostly because of price. I found it for $99 and free shipping.

I have a Velocity 3.5# single stage and like it. It breaks right at 3.5#. There seems to be less creep than the CMC triggers I have tried on display at the LGS.

My son installed a Del-Ton 2 stage match and it is pretty darn nice as well.
