This was one of 3 firearms on my list for this year but because of a few (8 or 9) impulse buys that were too good to pass up, it became #13 and the last for a while. Put it on lay-a-way this AM and will bring it home in Dec.
No signs at all of any use.
I am one happy camper! smile

Sounds like you have a new "Moose" getter.

If it is anything like mine, you have just started a love affair with an accurate, pleasant and sexy mistress. Let me know when you start loading for it, and we'll swap loads.

I hope to pick mine up either today or tomorrow. It is the stainless laminated version.

My search for loading information has had limited success. Looks like that is just part of the fun with this caliber. For the most part I'll be running .41 cal handgun bullets through it. Should be fun.

Rick,

You'll love the handgun bullets. I use 25 gr of AA5744 and the 210 Sierra HP. Pretty tame load, but fun to shoot grouse with. I also have loaded 300 gr Hornadys with H4895 and Varget. The Varget didn't seem to work as well as the H4895. Also have shot some Barnes X 300 gr. Now THEY shoot real well. Bought a mold for 300 gr cast bullets as well, but have not used them enough to really comment on them. Should prove out pretty interesting, though.

Enjoy, and have fun! It's a great rifle.
