I handled a few of the newer (but discontinued) Winchester High Walls over the weekend. I'm fussy about triggers. The pull weight seems ok but they seem mushy / creepy. From a gunsmith's perspective, how difficult is it to get a little more of a traditional crisp pull?

If you are talking about the Miroku built simulations of the 1885, Lee Shaver works on those triggers. You only need send parts, not the whole gun.
