Who has experience with a 24" barrel 22-250 ENCORE with factory ammo? What do they like and dis-like? What kind of groups can I expect with factory ammo? Thinking seriously about getting one and putting my H&R ULTRA .223 aside for the time being.

My Encore .22-250 has the 26" heavy contour stainless barrel, it's fun to shoot & deadly accurate. 100 yard performance is awesome with 3 shot groups that can be covered by a dime. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I've got the 26" ss heavy barrel too. 1st time out I couldn't get it to group because it fouled after a couple of shots. Had a heck of a time getting it to clean up. wound up spending several hours scrubing it then I used JB bore paste on the barrel, went to the range and did a break in routine, 1 shot, scrub, for 20 rounds. Now it doesn't foul and at 147 yds it shoots 3 shots into one hole.
