anybody have one laying around that they don't need? Please PM me if so, thank you.

Matt
Your rifle of course, but having seen a couple of synthetic-stocked No.1s, I think i'd rather chop off my winky.
Understood, it's not as pretty as walnut, but they are light and this is for a project on an action and it's what I want/need right now.

Any helpful comments other than chopping off body parts ?? wink

Ya midway used to have thembut they have since been discontinued by the factory. I even contacted the factory nd no luck so thought I'd try here and see if any were floating around out there
Midway shows them in stock
What are you doing with the walnut ?

Thanks.

I tried each color, all say discontinued and when I try to add any of them to cart I get a nice apology from them that they aren't in stock... frown
That's like putting a set of mag wheels on a wire a wheeled XKE Jag or maybe throwing a pass with 3 downs to go from the 2 yard line. What are you thinking?

Ha! It's a beater #3 action that I'm rebarreling and building a lightweight mountain rifle, hence the synthetic stock, lightweight and weather proof...
don't worry, not hacking up the 35 whelen....

Who did th stock on the .35? Nice.
mpistocks.com

Not B&C and not cheap, but is synthetic.
will check mpi, checked a long time ago and will revisit.

this bell and carlson looks good on my 358 STA!

That's the same color as the Kevlar B&C on my Knight. Kinda grows on you.

I think the synthetic No.1 stocks I saw before were Lee Six's. Kinda clubby.

Just read the reviews on the Midway site. Doesn't sound like a stock I would want to purchase.

Well, each to his own. While I understand wanting a really light rifle that absorbs recoil well it just seems wrong to do it to a No. 1 or No.3 action.

What is the weight difference between the B&C you want and a walnut stock with a slim forearm and drilled out butt stock?
understood... I like them classic as well but not after climbing 2000 feet and 5 miles, every pound counts!

about a pound difference...
for the nay sayers.... gotta admit this bell and carlson stock looks better than the factory #3 on this 375 winchester....

It does.

Apparently, you've got a bag case of Rugeritis.
Yes sir! Bad bad case...
could still use a stock or two....
bump
I have a BC stock in mossy oak new breakup , it is in the box and I will let it go if you still want it
I'd like to be second in line if the OP isn't interested.
