I once owned a 4-digit, 22", no irons 7mm mag with an AH forend that my brother had refinished in oil. Looked about the same.
That recoil pad was a major mistake. White spacer on a Number 1? Aaaaahhhhhh, my eyes!!!
A few months back, I bought a non-prefix BH 22-250 from the same dealer, and the rifle had the same recoil pad (though not anymore ;))so they must have been owned by the same person.
The wood finish on mine was still original but it wasn't anywhere near as well figured.
The price paid for this rifle is surprisingly high given what it is and the awful pad. Someone obviously thought that wood was worth about $500.
