saw this one while nosing around on gunbroker today.....pretty easy to look at for a while.

That single shot is great art!
My Lord! The No. 1 in my dreams looks EXACTLY like that but in 8x68S....
I don't recall ever seeing a faux sidelock Ruger before. LOT of work in that rifle...
This guy has a few nice ones. Looks like out of the same estate.
How does one keep from eating that yard long scope? Maybe a 22LR?
.243?!?!?!.... of all the cool classic calibers he could have asked for....
I bet that decision costs the estate $2000
he could have chosen 7x57R.... or any of a number of other classic british or euro calibers.... I bet it would sell for a LOT more.
Maybe 9.3x74R in a plain jane/plain wood no1 won't sell (even at CDNN blowout prices), but ONE custom no 1 that looks like that in that caliber or something similarly exotic, perhaps the above mentioned 8x68S... THAT would find a buyer who could afford it!
also, what's up with the knife edge leading edge of the comb?
any thoughts?

That little custom Ruger is gun art at its finest.
Deliver me from temptation.......
I look at that gun and I think "Pimp"
