I took the old red pad No. 1 out for an antelope trip earlier this week. It's chambered in 270 Win and shoots the 110 grain TTSX into really small holes at 3330 fps.

I ranged him at 387 yards in 20 MPH winds as he quartered away from me and tried to put a TTSX through his last rib but the wind caught it and it broke his neck.

Here's the gun, buck and hunter:

Nice.

That was a good shot. Saw a good bud shoot one almost as good with a .270 Sendaro at about the same distance. He knew the trajectory and held over just enough to drop a 130 NPT in the boiler room.

Great combination #1, 270, and pronghorn. Well done, congrats!
Congrats! This one is my favorite antelope rifle, chambered for 243AI. Love the No. 1's!

That'll work! Nice antelope, and good going.
Nice!!
Nice goat, nice shot, good trip. Can't ask for more than that.
Congrats! Nice buck....Classic caliber and rifle.
Nice goat and nice pics.
Good job!
Good hunt, good post, and very nice photo (both). Thank you.

I find it interesting to see hunting conditions and game from other parts of the country. And I though 'goat', was mis-spelled 'gloat'. But 'goat' you say.
