Good luck. They are pretty rare. I think Dirtfarmer managed to grab one and it has some pretty wood on it. I think he's shown that it's a real shooter too.
When I found out they had made a run of them 5 or 6 years ago I tried finding one but missed the boat. Hadn't ever seen one in a gun shop or Gunbroker since either.
El Numero Uno may be able to help you track one down.
Seems like it was a run of maybe 200. There may be exceptions but the wood certainly isn't spectacular. The configuration was in 1B. Without looking at mine that's what I recall anyway.
Edited to add that it was probably closer to 8 years ago that they ran these...
Been wanting a Ruger no.1 in this caliber for quite a while. I was fortunate to find one with this wood. IMO Rugers no.1's are getting better and better.
