I have an Encore barrel that I'm interested in selling, but need some help with value.

It's a T/C standard contour, blued, no sights barrel chambered in 338-06 A2. It's in good condition with only a couple of small blemishes where it fits to the frame. The plan is to include the barrel, camo forearm, Talley one-piece mount, some bullets and a set of dies in a package. What's the value of the barrel??

Anyone help with pricing?

It's not a caliber commonly encountered even though it was a factory offering. Think of a standard factory used barrel & mount. Under $200 likely.
Dies & bullets are worth $40-50 maybe.
Forearm is worth $35?

I don't know if I've helped you but maybe you can use those numbers as a starting point in establishing a price. Have you looked at some of the T/C shooting forums? There are classified sections for Encores there.

I would ask at least 300 for the lot

I had a barrel in 338-06 few years ago and sold it for around $300. I would start the package at $350 and go from there. People who really like the encore system go for the odd/rare calibers. Good luck with your sale.
