I have had a trapline the past few winters here in Kodiak. There has been a good mix of cross foxes, reds, and silvers. This winter was particularly difficult due to all the snow. 6" would fall, bury the snares. It would melt off leaving my snares up in the air. Up and down all winter long. Managed 16 this winter, down from 64 last year. Here's a few that I managed pictures of.

The Silvers I'm saving for a king size flannel lined blanket.

The fox alone would make living there worth while. Those things make all other fox look pathetic.

Here's a few from last year. The monster size one weighed 27lbs. The adult foxes here can be as big as coyotes!

Incredible!! I'd rather go up there and spend a week trapping fox than shooting blacktails.

Those are awesome furs. Makes the ones here in SC seem naked.
