...I've recently returned from Fort Worth where my sixth novel, Looking for Lynne, won the silver medal in the Will Rogers Medallion Awards for Western Fiction. I was up against Craig Johnson's "Longmire" series and another finalist included a Western Writers of America Hall of Fame member so the competition was pretty tough.
That's a major accomplishment, sir. Congratulations!
Thanks, guys. My first novel was first runnerup for a Golden Spur Award from Western Writers of America quite some time ago and this is my first award since then. I don't enter contests much.
Beside getting a chunk of silver John and Deb got to see some rain and eat at Cattlemen's Steak House.
Ah, Bobbalee, were you there?
No, I was 80 miles east. But I was on facebook.
Congrats! Is the novel available?
Yes sir, signed copies are available from me for $22.00 ppd or you you can get it, and my other books, on Amazon.
Check out John's facebook page for some cool photos.
