This is a sci-fi anthology series on Netflix with stories about "parallel future" or near future technology and its effect on people and society. Only seven episodes so far but supposedly Netflix has picked up more episodes.

This isn't Star Wars or Star Trek action adventure stuff, it's pretty dark psychological drama, kind of like the better Twilight Zone episodes updated for a more adult audience. Not for everybody, no car chases or explosions and almost no T&A but if you like character driven stories that make you think then you might give this one a watch.

Thought I'd bring this to the top, just finished watching season 3 of this on Netflix. This season has 6 episodes in all, each about one hour long.

The stories are set in some near future or alternate present and are totally different from each other with the only similarities being the more sinister effects of technology. It really is the Twilight Zone on steroids, R rated but nothing you wouldn't see or hear in any HBO or Showtime series.

Knowing the folks here I doubt everyone would like the subject matter of every episode, the first one is about social media gone crazy which I can't really relate to, but they're all well acted and directed with some name stars in some of them..

If you like good speculative fiction you'll probably like this one. I definitely give it 5 stars.


Added: Try watching the 2nd, 3rd or 5th episodes first, I found those more "guy" oriented. The 6th one is almost a full length movie, 1 1/2 hours but still darn good.

Thanks. Sounds like the old Outer Limits, more sci-fi than what Rod Sirling called the Wisdom Plays of Twilight Zone.

After reading this I watched several episodes. I'm a sucker for the Twilight Zone stuff and Black Mirror was that and more. I'm hooked.
