big grass carp! - 09/22/14
Looks like we have a new Master Angler in the family! 
Took kids on a little fishing trip to a farm pond today and Grace was pretty excited to hook this one. Grass carp that surprisingly hit a small jig she was using on an ultralight with 4# test line for crappie. Took pictures and then turned it loose. A few minutes later it came floating to the top, so in I went to revive it. Ended up chest deep to get to it, but got it upright and revived. Felt good to see it swim off. About 3' long and probably 20# or so.
