I have a 10yr old grandson who goes shooting with me. He needs better eye protection then the goggles he currently use.

I'm wondering what you folks would suggest for eye protection for a 10 year old.

Thanks
Jim

My daughters just use safety glasses you can buy at Home Depot. One pair we have has the big orange frames, the others are completely clear. They cost about $5-$10 a pair, so if they leave them at the range I'm not out to much. I can also use them when I'm doing woodwork.

Thanks for your reply. The "big orange frames" fit under hearing protection and stay on her face ok?

Thanks

My daughter actually has everyday glasses and those orange ones go over the top of them. It's not the greatest fit, but better safe than sorry. She doesn't complain about them when she is shooting and she does well enough to put shots on an 8 inch target at 100 yds with 22, AR, and 243. She uses the Caldwell type over the head ear muffs and it doesn't seem to bother her.

I found something similar to this at a tractor supply store. My 11 year old daughter is smaller than most girls her age and they fit her nicely.
