My buddy and I are heading to west Texas in January to hunt javelina. While we are out there we want to hunt sandhill Crane. Anyone have a good guide or any pointers?
Thanks

Make this recommendation half-heartedly. I haven't been, but had a buddy who went to TX with a goal of shooting light geese amd ended up crane hunting one of the days of the trip. I guess they have decent crane numbers and was lead to believe at certain times of year the crane hunting is really good. I'd call and vet this one very thoroughly. Maybe they have something that would work.

Depending on where you’re hunting the javelina there may be sand hills on the same property. Get a few sand hill decoys and kill them on the same property.
