I often watch a webcam focused on Lake Onalaska in Wisconsin. Besides the myriad familiar ducks, geese and cranes, very frequently there are swans in the video feed. I haven't hunted ducks in 18 years but I used to hunt more than 40 days per season. I've spent A LOT of time in duck blinds in Northeast Louisiana and Southeastern Arkansas. I've NEVER seen a swan while hunting. Do you see them where you hunt?

Thanks, RS
They’re everywhere here!
Yep
Piles of them here now too. Incredible birds
Yep, plenty. Apparently the fish cops write a few citations for people shooting them. Apparently mistaking them for geese. Hard believe.
They just ruin the hunting around here. Wish we could get rid of them at least til January. Some local wanna be old [bleep] head started some from chicks several years back and the rest is history
Never seen one. We don't see a ton of geese either here in southern Arizona.
Not here because we don't have much water other than small rivers but if you go east or west you can see them. I saw a bunch in Iowa while I was traveling around for deer hunting the past week.
I don't hunt waterfowl anymore but go out an take a lot of pictures where hunting is permitted. The Tundra Swans are thick in southeastern Virginia and eastern North Carolina in the winter.

Very, these days anyway.

Used to fish a PA farm pond near my grandmother’s house, and for some reason I saw single swans there pretty often. Hell, maybe it was the same one.

Always a thrill to see them flying overhead on the rare occasions I do.
Lots in the spring here (SE Oregon) but we're mostly fly over country in the fall.

No Oregon season either.
Never. We have a ton of Sandhill Cranes, though.
