Duck season is right around the corner and I'm looking for a new set of mallard decoys. I previously used Green Head Gear hot buy mallards, but most of the paint has chipped away. Anyone have any suggestions about a high quality light weight decoy that would hold paint well? I've been looking at AvianX, Dakota's, Higdon and GHG pro-grade.
For floaters I have 2 dozen Columbia Rivers ($$$$$$) that are double bagged and kept in slotted bags for boat use only. My general use decoys are 2 dozen Full Curls
Go with Avian X.
You won't be disappointed.
My buddy has 2 dozen of Avian X, the keels wiggly a little, will that effect the durability?
Avian X full bodies are awesome. I don't care for their floaters. But I don't care about weight, so you will more then likely be very happy with their floaters.
Quack is where it is at but they aren't light.

Find some Herters 72 on ebay and be done with it.
If you like avian x. Check out DOa floaters. They are new this year but absolutely amazing looking
The DOA's ride better then the Avian X do.
