I finally got into some ducks today. It took three of us 15 minutes to limit out over the decoys. Mallards, green wing teal, and a few gads.


I was shooting my 870 with imp-skeet and #3 steel. The other two were shooting semi-autos. It was clear, windy, and 33 degrees but we were done before sunrise. Siting in the coffee shop and wishing it were this good every time.

Those days definitely make the bad days easier to swallow.

Looks like a great morning - gonna give it a try tomorrow morning on the Pamlico River.
