Well, I almost have this thing finished. It's a .357 caliber using my proprietary valve. I'm pulling 148 grain bullets from a bunch of 38 special that I have for testing and I'm exceeding the velocity of the 38 special at 798fps. Breech and barrel are machined together. Still have to make a cocking knob for the back of it and the rear connecting piece that goes from breech to pressure tube so that it doesn't have that shortcoming at the back of the barrel. I'll also 3D print a front barrel band with sight. I used a Crosman grip assembly for the simplicity and not having to make one.

Oh, it's a green mountain barrel blank btw.

Thank you. I got a bit more done to it today. Made that rear connecting section and cocking knob. Still need to 3d print a barrel band and sights.

That is awesome. Are you thinking of trying a rifle build of any sort off this design?
I rarely say this but, I am thoroughly impressed, and cannot wait to see what is next. Very cool!

Already done. It's not the prettiest thing because I built it as a prototype but it pushes 325 grain bullets at 1587fps and gets 6 full powered shots. 50 caliber

Very cool πŸ‘ That is a lot of power compared to most of the off the shelf offerings out there.

I've been thinking of picking up a 45 or 50 of some stripe to try for some OOS deer hunting, but that is a lot of salt for me to choke down for something I'd probably only use a few days a year. I really like the look of the Seneca claw series rifles, but they just don't have enough giddyup.
I recommend the Umarex Hammer. It's very powerful and doesn't completely break the bank. It also gives you a 2 shot mag and a total of 4 shots on a charge. I bought one and that's what made me want to see if I could build my own to beat it and built the one posted above.

That's cool, let me know if you want me to cast you up and powder coat some bullets to try in it. I have a few different. 358 molds and sizers from .355 up to .360 in .001" increments. I can't sell them but I can give them away. I have a 148g full wadcutter that's pretty accurate and hits hard. They look like little soup cans with the tumble lube grooves.

That's pretty cool.

Evnin, that's not ugly. If it's accurate anything isn't ugly. Nice work bud, reeeeely cool beans. GWPGUY. πŸΎπŸ‘£πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
