My one and only air rifle is a RWS 34 in 22 cal. Currently I'm shooting the 16 gr. Predator Polymag, accuracy wise they seem to be very good and so far I've had pretty good results on rabbits depending on how well I can place my shot. I'm not sure what the effective range limit would be on this combination but right now I keep things as close as possible.

Crosman Premier Hollow Points. 14.3gr .22 cal. Have accounted for a lot of rock chucks.

Have you measured the pellet velocity at various ranges? Say, 25, 35 or 50 yards? It would seem that accuracy plus velocity and any range would determine how far you wanted to shoot it. It does for my powder burners anyway.
