Just saw an Ad for a Crosman / Benjamin Prowler NP with some thicker attachment on the end of the Barrel . Price was $100 as was a Remington ( no Model given except to say " .177 Cal ...1000 FPS ) . Is the Crosman really Quiet ? Is there something else out there really Quiet that I should consider for small Pests ?

The Nitro Piston rifles from Crosman/Benjamin incorporate a built in suppressor. They are quieter than rifles without that feature.

They still have a report, though. Much less than spring powered rifles.

If you really want quiet shooting, then get a Marauder. They are truly amazingly quiet.

Yep, mines a 1970's 881 but it's quieter than CB's {about half as loud} shoots 1" 5 shot groups at 25 yards with readily available Crosman pellets and has sent many a rabbit and squirrel to the hereafter.

I should hope so. Gamo is to airguns, what Hi-Point is to firearms.
