Does anyone have any experience with these revolvers in 45 Colt? I have an opportunity to purchase one at a reasonable price, and was wondering how they compare to the Uberti or Beretta offerings.

Looks like a taker to me. Can't beat the case hardening. Looks sweet. My father in law has a new Vaquero in .45 on the way but it is taking forever. So if you order it now you may get it oh...about 4:30 pm next summer! Plus with a handle like the_shootist, ya gotta have two of them babies. Right?

Thinking maybe it could be so. They're not real expensive new either, and from a store, the CFO is telling me I could get it quicker than two months. Ya think?

Loaded some rounds with the "Cheerio" powder today just getting ready. 5.5 grains of Trail Boss about half fills that short drum of a case on the 45. Gettin' right antsy.
