When the prime minister can not do the job? Like the vice president in the US?
It doesn't work like that in the parliamentary system. The MPs can turf him and elect from their ranks another leader . He will be from the ruling party, of course. When he doesn't have the MPs confidence, he is asked to resign. As if he has a choice.
