I caught that on the radio news last night when I was in the garage cutting meat and had a good chuckle over it. I'm glad nobody was hurt too badly.
The local news link along with the constable giving the play by play was quite amusing too - "Mr. Winkle" !

I have been a police officer the U.S. for 20 years and thought I had tussled with some large irrate individuals. I don't think I would be tough enough to deal with some of the assailants in Canada.
I am glad neither party was seriously injured.

Only in Canada, I guess. In 30 years of policing, I never tangled with an irate moose. I did with a few bears, but went straight to guns.
