The worst in the league by far, the most arrogant too.

gerrygoat;
Top of the morning to you sir, hopefully this finds you folks having a sunny Sunday as well.

In my experience hockey spectators can often represent the lowest form of Canadian life - as one doesn't expect to find that sort of behavior out and about at that hour anyway.

It's strange though how some sports bring out different facets of folks' personalities though. The same parents at a high school volleyball tournament will be quite affable and then return in malignant rectal orifice guise during basketball season. confused

Anyway it's a shame how those girls were treated for sure and doubly so when security wouldn't help either.

All the best to you and yours in the upcoming week sir.

I was at a Montreal - Boston playoff game in Montreal last year, great game, great fun. Afterwards the three of us went to a local pub and ran into two guys from Boston who had driven up, 5 hour drive, to the game. They commented on how the fans at the game and the venue was at another level from what they experienced in Boston. They had a great time, I asked them how they were being treated in Montreal at the game and around town, they stated we have been treated like princes. They also stated that you would not want to go to a Bruins game and cheer for another team as you would be more likely than not to get your lights punched out. Painting with a broad brush is seldom accurate.

Perhaps. Of course in that case it was two men who could fight back and not some women. It is sad that no one did anything to help them. I still can't cheer for them mostly because of their fans, arrogant and they feel entitled in some way.

I have nothing against the athletes on the teams of the college that is too close to me, but their fans are another matter entirely.

More than likely,Alcohol was the antagonizer.
I have been to many pro sporting events and 99% of the time the ones starting the crap are to drunk to enjoy the game.
Being a life long Habs fan,I am sorry to hear this,and hope they catch the dicks
