Anyone here have experience with provincial leases?

I will be taking over a lease in northern SK later this summer and looking for some insight.

The lease is due to be RE-upped in 3 years. I hear they may be expanding the term to 20 years from the current 10 year term.

Anything I should be aware of?

I have all the paperwork and it will be completed later this month. Just looking to educate myself a little more in advance.

Thanks in advance.
No on where has any experience with a cabin on leased provincial land?
in BC yes, if they don't renew the lease they pay you out the value of any improvements.
I just spoke with a friend who renewed their lease near LaRonge. The new leases are 20 years ( she may have said 25 , not positive). Good luck with your new place!
I just received the transfer paperwork. Need to get my signature notarized and shipped off. Then the transfer should be official. Pretty cool to have an ownership interest in a cabin in the bush. Pretty exciting and daunting as well.
