Who is going to re-barrel my 1895 Winchester ? Is there any good Canadian gunsmiths left, or did they all move back to Germany ? I'll take all the help I can can get tracking one down, Thanks in advance !

The following is a quick rundown of those I've either dealt with or have first hand knowledge of.
I have dealt with the gunsmith at Corlane's and though he's not done work for me, they have done work for folks I know and the report was positive.
I've had Chris Wilcox do 5 rechamber/rebarrel jobs for me and I've always been happy with the work done.
Chris Weber at Weber and Markin has a good reputation locally as does Terry L'Heureux at Black Art Rifles and Patrick Smith at ProTech Guns.
Ralf Martini and Martin Hagn are both world class gunsmiths judging by the quality of work they produce. They'd likely be pretty backed up.
Lastly I've dealt with Dennis Sorensen on the Island on a trigger and was very pleased with every part of the transaction.
The ones I've omitted are simply smiths I've had no direct or even indirect dealings with so don't take that as anything else please.
If you are hoping to get an Alberta smith for the job there are a few listed on canadiangunnutz and perhaps that would be another resource for the search.
My usual advice for getting any work done by a smith is to give them a call and chat with them a bit to see if you're both on the same page and they like to do projects such as you've got in mind. One or two will no doubt rise to the top as ones best suited for your work.

On Dwayne's list, Chris Wilcox is the most likely to want to do a 95 and do it well. Chambering you want is relevant since tooling may be an issue. The winchester lever actions present some issues which turn off many modern day 'smiths. GD

I have known Chris for 52 years [ best man at my wedding]taught me to hunt ,,does all my stock work.
he started building black powder rifles in his mid teens in school shop class
he is picky and maticuless [spl]with all that he does,great guy.
