i got invited to a whitetail bow hunt in the state of new york. I live in canada i never hunted in the usa and im not sure what i need to go for a hunt, like a special licensee or papers filled out or anny thing in general like going threw customs we will be going by car.

Have you gone through a hunters education course? A bowhunting certification course? I believe both of these are required by NY in order to bowhunt big game, at least they were when I lived there. Not sure what the cutoff is on age though (born before a certain year and you are exempt).

What area of NY?

If you have a specific archery license from anywhere, it is good for getting NR here.

You will need a non-resident Big Game licence and a Bow tag.Both may cost $$,welcome to NY.

i was planing on buying my deer liscence wonce in newyork. i live in ontario and we dont have a liscnce or a course to take would my ontario outdoors cours sufice?
