i have been kicking around the idea of selling or trading my 1895 take down chambered in 30-03 the rifle is in great shape. never seen one better. mfg 1905 i think. what are they worth in the real market.

I have an 1895 in .405 win that I got from my great uncle who is now deceased. It is in good shape and has a couple of boxes of original ammo. Merrill used to talk about hunting with it. When times were tough in the 1930s he used it on antelope, but waited for 2 to line up so he could save on ammo.
