O.k. I see a double tapered hood for pre 64's as well as a hood with single tapered with the other end flat attributed to pre 64's. Was there a time frame for use of each of these? Or was the single tapered version ever used on pre 64's?

The hood with the single bevel is a reproduction. They usually have a duller finish as well.
