What would be th� best choice for an aperture sight to mount on a winchester 70 safari express ?

The best choice should be able to be switched from peep sight configuration to ghost ring configuration and should be scout scope mount compatible. Look and feel matters, of course, though it remains very personal

ANY peep sight is easily switched to a ghost ring simply via removing the sighting aperture & shooting through the resulting ring.

The Lyman sight has a QD release button, so the horizontal sighting staff can be quickly removed if needs be - and returned to zero when reinstalled - but with a Scout scope setup, the peep can be left mounted, as I've found that (for me) it doesn't unduely obstruct the sight picture (YMMV, though).
