Ladies and Gentlemen:

Did Winchester sell to dealers and/or the public new, replacement barrels for their lever action rifles with dovetails and sights ready to go? I saw one for sale that I might want, and its billed as a NOS replacement barrel.

I thought that Winchester only re-barreled their rifles at the factory in New Haven, Connecticut.

If anyone has any knowledge, concerning this issue, I'd love to hear from you.

I believe you are correct. The barrel you saw advertised is likely a "like new" take off barrel.
