Does anyone have recent blue book pricing for the M12 Heavy Duck Gun (so called) in VG to Exc Condition?
Forget the Blue Book and look at Completed auctions on Gunbroker..

Yes, but I still would like some Blue Book info if anyone has it and is willing to share it.
OK, here is the situation: an acquaintance has one of these in Exc. condition. He wants $1400 for it. Is that too high?
yes.....
I paid $1000 for mine.. I am not sure they have gone up much in the last years.. The model 12 market in this area is soft.. But we are not a great shotgun area.
Im going to say it is high as well, were it stone cold mint maybe not. Im in a shotgun area, this would make a fantastic turkey gun as steel shot is all that is allowed on our 37,500 acre Lake Seminole. This younger group of guys coming on does not get excited over the 12's as did my generation, its all on Italian autos now!! very best WinPoor
The current (35th Edition) of BBGV has the Winchester Heavy Duck Gun listed at $1250 for 100%, $1100 for 98% and $1000 for 95%.

Add 60% for solid rib
Add 50% for 32" barrel

To all who replied: thanks for the information; it was exactly what I was looking for. Its a pity that I am too cheap to buy a BBGV, since I can get a pretty good knife or box of ammo or whatever for about the same price. wink
the internet has about replaced all the books.
