What do you guys use on your stocks to clean and condition the wood?

Damp towel of mild warm dish soap then dried, followed with 2 coats of Renaissance Wax. Supposedly this is the wax used at the winchester museum on the antique arms. They use it on the metal and wood.

The only thing with Ren wax is that it can leave white wax residue in the checkering that is hard to get out.
