I recently bought an early 40's 94 that has an issue. Sometime, down through the years, somebody really screwed up the lever. It was cut in two and then rewelded. I can't imagine why. My question is this: Are all pre-64 levers interchangeable?

Levers on guns manufactured from 1915 thru 1963 are interchangeable....

Thanks for the info.

Levers up to 1915 were case colored, afterwards they were blued. There is not a exact date as there was a transition period right around 1915 when both were used. I'd try to find one that came off a gun from the same era as yours. Should note that a lever from a pistol grip stock will not work on a straight stocked carbine. Keep an eye on eBay, they show up pretty regularly....
