Co worker was given some guns by his father in law. Among some nice ones is a Winchester 94 Teddy Roosevelt octagon with, he says, a nickel receiver and medallion in the stock. Says it's in better than fair shape but not mint. Any ideas on it's worth?
If it's been shot and doesn't have it original box and sleeve, not a lot more than a standard post-64 Model 94. Maybe $400-500
Somebody just sold one in the classifieds for 425.00 unfired without a box.
For most all of the 94 commemoratives if they're not 100% nib with all literature and paperwork they're what I call fancy shooters worth $50-100 more than a standard M94 of the same age in the same condition. This one has an octogon barrel making it maybe worth a smudge more.
