Looking to take a pre 64 featherweight 270 back to original condition and need to source a trigger guard. I believe they were aluminum on the featherweights. The trigger guard on the one I bought has numbers scratched into it but if somebody wants mine in return to have it reblued we could make it happen

Would I decrease the value of the rifle if I had it reanodized or should I just look for one with the factory finish?

I'd just replace it, there's usually one or two on eBay....

I saw a few but I haven't used eBay much. I'll see if my acct is still active there...
