Anyone have any sources outside of Homestead? ..or ebay..

I recently found a flatside 1895 and it needs a trigger mainspring.

...also, looks pretty simple, but any pointers for installing that I need to know?

..gets more interesting the more I read and learn about this rifle..(mine is an early flatside model)

The flatside model (under 5000 serial) have a style 1 bolt assembly and they are not the same as the more frequent style 2 bolt assembly...

I have searched everywhere for an exploded view of the style 1 bolt but havent seen it anywhere online.

I was able to preheat, and weld my old mainspring. It is functioning, but I am not happy with the cycling of the trigger and hammer....so I plan on just buying a new one.

Anyone else here on the fire have a flatside? Id like to pm a few questions about the bolt..?
