I've got it in my mind that I want a .41 lever. Marlins tend to be out of my price range, but Henrys come around now and then.

I've never shot a Henry lever. Any issues for lefties? I don't expect any but I don't want to waste my time, energy, and money just to get something I don't like shooting.

And if anybody has a .41 Mag carbine they want to sell, let me know.

I'm a lefty and have one of the steel 16" carbines in 327. Being a drop tube mag like a 22, there's really no handedness to loading like there is with a side gate.

Mine shoots well and handles/shoulders very nicely, but it feeds pretty crappy.

I only have the Henry Golden Boy 22 but that isn't a problem

My buddy has one in 41. Mag, we took 240lb black bear with it. Red dot mounted on it. It's mine when he decides to let it go tho! It's not been shot much, but seems to run fine!

I think they’re good guns. All of them eject out of the right side. Not sure how problematic that is, probably not, because most people slightly drop the rifle down a few degrees from their shoulder when racking a round and that takes it away from the face when the other way is to leave it on your shoulder when operating it quickly. I have a few lever guns like the Winchester 94 and Savage 99 and don’t consider myself an expert on levers enough to make a statement that the right hand ejects will be a problem. I see them as more of a novelty than a practical sporter. I think it just bugs me to see it eject on the right rather than upward like the 94.

I've never really had the right hand ejection be an issue on any lever or pump.

Semi auto is another story entirely... nothing like having hot debris spit in your face, especially with rimfires. 😒

I agree. I'm a lefty and lever guns are not a problem.

I never drop the rifle away from my shoulder. Not one inch. And the right hand eject is no issue

Long time lefty, and no problems with my Marlin 1894FG(41 Mag).
