The Savage 110 Ultralites are on sale for $999 at
Bass Pro/Cabelas. The lefties in 308 aren’t available but the 6.5 CM are.

I seen that and was contemplating it, but can’t come up with a reason to own one (other than it’s a good deal). I’ll probably never again hunt in conditions that would warrant an ultralight rifle.

I’m in the same boat. It’s a good deal, but I’d really like an 18” barrel. Can’t exactly chop a carbon fiber barrel.
