I had a T3 Lite in 270 WSM a while back. Just never could warm up to it. Shot very well. Was younger and more dumb then...I think.
I kinda recall Tikka showing many offerings, but being Finn, many things were not available in the US. There website kinda wonky, but clicking on each model, many pop up as "also available as Left Handed"
Gunbroker shows only 2 models and most are "Lay Away"....which means they normally have not hit the wholesalers yet.
Most notable to me are the Varmint options. A fluted Hunter would be super cool too.
Any word on these rifles and what will be available in the US and when?
Pretty much the new versions of what was previously available. Hunter and lite stainless versions. Beretta wont import anything else, even if asked. There have been attempts to order through Canada, etc., but that adds several hundred dollars in import fees.
Davidsons shows a few in stock in various calibers
As mentioned, you're only likely to find a Hunter or Lite Stainless. The Sporters were available to lefties in the T3. I can't say I've seen one in a T3X yet.
You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a Hunter or SS though. I have one in SS.
I'll be at DSC next week and will ask the boys from Beretta what flavors of Tikka LH models they will be bringing in this year.
Many many thanks. I appreciate any info on any new LH on the horizon for 2017
Contact eurooptics. They usually have solid information as to what they can order and what will actually be shipped to the USA.
Left hand...Tikka Hunter... wood stocks....on sale... different calibers... 500.00... NEW

Looks like the lefties are still $550.
That's a great price for a Tikka LH Hunter.
www.eurooptic.com bought a bunch of Tikka T3 LH models and have very aggressive pricing on them.
i had a right handed t3x in my hands last week at a field&stream store. really didn't see much differents .i thought they were really opening up the ejection port on those but it looked about the same to me.price was over 800.00
My T3X ejection port measures approximately .075" larger than my T3. That equates to about 13% larger. I like the checkering pattern on the X's more. The metal bolt shroud is nice too. I don't think there are any large differences, just a handful of small ones.
About a month ago, europtic had a much better selection of the lefty T3's at the same pricing they have now. If they'd drop the 6.5x55 Hunter to match the price of the others, I'd be pretty tempted. At $600, though, spending a little more on a T3X is probably the way I'd go. The metal shroud and more appealing checkering is worth $125 to me. It is a good deal, though.

Same here.
The nicer and grippier checkering alone is what made me decide on a T3x Hunter over one of the closeout deals on the T3. To me it changes the way the whole rifle feels. The other changes are gravy - metal shroud, softer recoil pad, etc. The best price I found on the T3x was a bit over $700 with "free shipping" - which means the shipping is included in the price - but that's still a good value when you look at the prices of new Model 77's, 70's and 700's.
Just finished working the DSC show and Beretta was a "no show". It normally has a large presence but for whatever reason, chose not to participate this year. I'll be at SHOT next week and will have more time to investigate what might be new for us lefties this year.
